Eyebrow transplantation, also known as eyebrow micro-transplantation, is a surgical procedure that offers a reliable and effective alternative to anyone who suffers from zero or limited density and wishes to modify the appearance of their eyebrows and redraw their look.

Like hair transplantation, eyebrow transplantation moves hair (hair follicles) from a high-density area called the donor area, located on the hippocratic crown (at the top of the neck), to areas less dense on the eyebrows called recipient areas where the patient suffers from thinning areas.
There are 3 main eyebrow transplant techniques :
FUT is also called the strip technique, which consists of extracting a horizontal strip from the donor area (Hippocratic crown) of 10 to 30 cm, then cutting it carefully into follicular units under the microscope to avoid any waste as much as possible and implanting them on the thinning areas of the eyebrows.
FUE is currently the most used technique, which consists of extracting each follicular unit individually from the donor area using a tool called a micro-punch and placing them in a preservation solution. This process is repeated until the medical practitioner harvests enough follicular units to implanting them on the thinning areas of the eyebrows.
DHI is currently the most recent technique, called the pen technique which consists of creating the channels and doing the direct and immediate implantation using a special pen (Choi Implanter). It allows the surgeon to control the depth, angle, and direction of implantation step by step, which grafts will be implanted one by one on the sparse areas of the eyebrows.
